The creation of legal fiction begins immediately after a living child is born.

    🔹 Notification of Live Birth – the hospital or midwife sends a form to the Civil Registry Office. Based on this document, a Birth Certificate is issued – the first entry of the fictional legal person.

    🔹 From that moment, a new entity appears in the register – a legal person, distinct from the living child.

    🔹 Financial, tax and administrative systems recognise that fiction as the holder of identifiers (National Insurance Number, tax records, NHS file).

Verification: In the UK you may request copies of the Notification of Live Birth or original hospital record from the local registry office.

The Life of Fiction

The fiction lives parallel to the human.
